How My World Tuner handles visitor and app information.
My World Tuner works without requiring a user account. The web server may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, including IP address, browser or app information, request time and server logs.
Radio playback
When you choose a station, your device connects to an external streaming server operated by the station or its provider. That service may receive technical connection information under its own privacy practices.
Directory requests
The website and official application request radio station information from My World Tuner. My World Tuner may retrieve source directory metadata server-side and use caching to reduce repeated requests.
Official application
The My World Tuner app does not require an account and contains no advertising SDK. Favorites and listening history are stored locally on the user's device. The app contacts MyWorldTuner.com to search and retrieve station information and contacts the selected station or its stream provider when playback starts.
Nearby stations and location
The app requests device location only when the user opens the Nearby / Near me feature. Location permission is optional and is not required for normal radio browsing or playback. The coordinates are sent over HTTPS in the request body to MyWorldTuner.com so the server can find radio stations close to that point; the application does not save precise location in favorites, listening history or the My World Tuner station database. The server may pass the coordinates to its radio-directory data provider solely to perform the nearby lookup. Standard hosting and upstream infrastructure may process technical request information under their own operational logs.
Website analytics
The website may use Google Analytics on pages where its tag is enabled and Microsoft Clarity across public website pages to understand website usage and improve navigation. These services may process technical and interaction information such as browser and device data, page visits, clicks, scrolling and similar usage signals. Microsoft Clarity may provide aggregated heatmaps and session-replay style diagnostics. The official Android app does not include Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or an advertising SDK.
